Service Description
We’re so excited to introduce our first-ever Christmas Potion Play sessions. A gentle, sensory-friendly Christmas event designed for toddlers and young children who thrive in smaller groups and calmer spaces. This is Christmas without the chaos. No crowds, no overwhelm, just slow, meaningful moments, festive sensory play, and beautiful memories with your little one. ❤️ 🌟 What’s Included Each session features: 🧪 Christmas Potion Play Earthy, hands-on sensory potion-making with pine cones, leaves, white “snow” powder, coloured rice, festive scoops and bowls. The perfect creative Christmas invitation to play. 🎈 Mini Bouncy Castle A small, enclosed white jumping castle filled with green and red balloons for safe, gentle festive fun. 🎄 Christmas Ball Pit A themed ball pit space for playful movement. 📚 Christmas Music and Story Time with Jono A cosy moment to unwind with a Christmas story and soft festive music after potion play. 📸 Christmas Photo Backdrop Capture sweet Christmas memories in a calm, beautiful setting. 🎨 Optional Face Painting Add a touch of Christmas sparkle with simple festive face painting for just $2 per child. ✨ Sensory-Friendly, Stress-Free Christmas To keep these sessions calm and enjoyable for all children, places are strictly limited to 7–8 children per session. This ensures plenty of space, time and support for every child to explore and enjoy the experience at their own pace. 🎅 Session Times Friday, 19th December • 3:30pm Saturday, 20th December • 9:00am • 9:45am Each session includes unlimited play! 💰 Pricing $25 - One child $45 - Two children $ 65 - Three children Children under 1 attend free (no booking required). Face Painting Add-On: $2 per child (payable on the day) 🎄 A Christmas experience made for little ones… Whether this is your first Christmas with your child or one of many, this event is designed to help you create meaningful memories. Cancellation Policy
Christmas Potion Play – Event Policy Welcome to our Christmas Potion Play sessions! To keep this a calm, safe and magical experience, please take a moment to read our event policy. Cancellations These sessions are capped at 7–8 children, so please give as much notice as possible when cancelling. Cancellations must be made 24 hours before the event. Supervision Potion play involves sensory materials, tools and small parts. A responsible adult must supervise their child at all times. Our staff support the experience, but supervision remains the responsibility of the accompanying adult. Footwear No shoes are permitted in the play area or at potion play tables to maintain safety and cleanliness. Food & Drinks Please bring your own nut-free snacks and drinks. Food must be eaten in designated areas only. Potion materials are not edible, and children should be supervised to ensure materials are not placed in their mouths. Health & Safety Please do not attend if your child is unwell or showing signs of illness. This helps keep our community healthy during the festive season. Respect & Care We encourage respectful behaviour towards others and our equipment. Potion play can be messy, but materials must be used appropriately to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment. Age-Appropriate Play Christmas Potion Play is designed for children aged 1 and over. Children under 1 attend free but should not participate in potion play due to small parts and sensory ingredients. Babies must be supervised closely at all times. Face Painting Add-On Optional face painting is available for $2 per child. We use skin-friendly paints and may decline face painting if a child has visible skin irritation or allergies. Liability Parents and carers are fully responsible for supervising children at all times. By attending, you acknowledge that sensory play involves inherent risks. Bear & Cub Play Centre does not accept liability for injury, loss or damage sustained on the premises.
