I've booked a Sponsored Saturday. What happens next?

Once your Sponsored Saturday is booked, we’ll be in touch to welcome you and collect everything we need, including your logo, website and social media links, business information and any promotional material you’d like included. We’ll then take care of the promotion and keep you updated as your Sponsored Saturday approaches.

When is Sponsored Saturday held?

Sponsored Saturday is held on the last Saturday of each month from 9am–12pm during our regular Open Play session.

How much does it cost?

A Sponsored Saturday is $500, with only one exclusive business sponsor available each month.

How many complimentary space are available?

Accepted Answer

Your sponsorship provides 20 children with complimentary Open Play admission. Families must book their complimentary places in advance, and standard admission applies to walk-ins.

Can we attend Sponsored Saturday?

Absolutely! We’d love to have you. You’re welcome to attend the session, meet and chat with families and represent your business in person. Attendance is completely optional. We'll have a trestle table set up for you to display your flyers and promotional material.

Sponsored Saturday is open to a wide range of local businesses and organisations. Collaboration is important to us, so we particularly welcome businesses whose products, services or values we believe could genuinely benefit our community of local families.

What is included in an Annual Membership?

Your Annual Membership includes 12 months of unlimited Open Play at Bear & Cub during our open hours for the number of children included in your chosen plan. Simply book your sessions as usual and enjoy!

When does my Annual Membership start?

Your 12-month membership begins from your selected membership start date and remains active for 12 months.

Do I have to pay the full amount upfront?

Yes. Annual Memberships are paid in one upfront payment. We do not offer payment plans for our annual memberships. There are no monthly membership payments during your 12-month membership.

Will my Annual Membership manually renew?

No. Your Annual Membership is a one-time purchase and will not automatically renew. At the end of the 12 months, you can choose whether you'd like to purchase another available membership option.

I purchased an Annual Membership. Do I still need to book?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We kindly ask that all our members book using the easy online booking system. This helps us manage capacity and keep Bear & Cub comfortable for everyone.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind or don't use the membership?

Accepted Answer

Annual Memberships are non-refundable, including for change of mind or periods where you choose not to use your membership. Please make sure an Annual Membership is right for your family before purchasing. This does not affect any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Can I transfer my membership to another family?

No. Annual Memberships are for the child or children nominated on the membership and cannot be transferred, shared or resold.

What happens if a session is fully booked?

Membership does not guarantee a place in a particular session. All sessions remain subject to our usual capacity limits, so we recommend booking ahead when you know you'd like to visit.

Can I purchase another Annual Membership when mine expires?

Yes! We’ll get in touch with you closer to your membership expiry date with information about renewing.  As an existing Annual Member, you’ll have the opportunity to renew your Annual Membership using the private renewal information we provide, so you won’t need to wait for one of our limited monthly public releases.We’d love to have you stay with us for another year!

Can someone else bring my child to Bear & Cub using our membership?

Yes! Your Annual Membership is linked to your child/children, not the accompanying adult.Grandparents, family members, friends or other trusted adults are welcome to bring your child to Bear & Cub and use the membership. Just need to book the session as usual and follow our regular centre and supervision requirements. This makes your membership flexible for your whole village.

Your entry includes unlimited play time. This allows for plenty of quality playtime while accommodating naps, snack breaks, toddler moods, and all the unpredictability that comes with little ones.

All adults are free.

*The discounted rate for multiple children is for siblings from the same family. We are proud to keep our pricing family-friendly for those with multiple little ones.*

How do I cancel my session?

Need to cancel your session? No worries, we get it!  Cancel your booking and receive a full refund. Just follow the instructions below.
 
If you are unable to attend a session you have booked, you can easily cancel your booking at any time before your session begins. To cancel, simply log in to your account, go to ‘My Bookings,’ and click ‘Cancel.’ Alternatively if you do not have a log in, you can reply to your booking confirmation email to request a cancellation.

If you are not a play pass holder or a member, you’ll receive a full refund for your session.
Play pass members will automatically have their session credited back to their account.
 
Our sessions are intentionally small and often fully booked. When a family does not attend and hasn’t cancelled, it means another family misses out on the opportunity to join. For this reason, we ask that you give us as much notice as possible when cancelling your booking. Thank you for helping us keep our sessions accessible and fair for all families.

What age range are you suited for?

Bear and Cub Play Centre is specially designed for children aged 0-5 years. We provide a safe and engaging environment for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers to explore, play, and learn. Our thoughtfully created spaces include a baby area, imaginative play zones, a creative play space, a cosy reading nook, and more to ensure that both children and parents can make the most of their time with us.
However, we will always allow older siblings and children who enjoy using our play space and treat the toys and equipment with respect.

How do I book a birthday party?

Details about our venue hire are available under the 'Parties and Events' tab. We currently offer venue hire on Saturday and Sunday after 1pm. You can easily book your preferred time and pay online via our bookings page. Or feel free to call or email us for further information. Full payment is required through our site to secure your date, and we offer full refunds for cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the event.

Do have offer food or beverages?

We currently offer a full hot drink menu and a small selection of healthy snacks and yummy treats.  We also welcome parents to bring their own snacks and food, helping to keep your visit affordable and flexible.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Our morning play sessions tend to book out so we highly recommend booking your session in advance, even on the morning of your visit! We have a set capacity to ensure a safe and comfortable environment, so while we may accept walk-ins if space allows, we can’t always guarantee last minute availability. You can always see the availability for a particular arrival time on our open play bookings page and our home page. Bookings are always essential for our unstaffed sessions as entry is only available via door code access.

How do I pay for my open play session?

When you book online, payment is made securely through our website. We accept credit cards, PayPal and other common online payment options. Full payment is required to secure your spot. If you’re booking on the day of your visit, you can still pay online right up until your session begins. It's quick, easy, and ensures your space is guaranteed! All you have to do is show us your booking confirmation email upon entry. 
For walk-in visits, we accept cash or card, whichever works best for you!

I have a membership, do I still need to book my open play session?

Yes please! Due to our capacity limits, all visitors (including members) need to book their Open Play sessions in advance to guarantee a spot. This is part of our commitment to keeping our space safe and comfortable. However, members can book for free! Simply log in to your account to reserve your session.

Yes! We encourage you to bring a friend, grandparent or another family member. We strongly believe in community, and encourage our families to bring an extra set of hands (or two or three) to your session.
